Sound check

 OKAY, new year, new platform, let's see how this goes! I'm hoping to do an end-of-year wrap-up post here later today, since that seems like a good fit for a journal-type platform, so this is a test post since I'm new to Dreamwidth and want to press all the buttons at least once before I try to share actual content.
